Simple Salmon

Easy week night meal you can smoke on up!

Ingredients (for 2 people):

Pre- Game (4 hours – marinating)

  1. Clean the salmon and remove the skin
  2. Place the salmon in a freezer bag with 1 cup Italian dressing and shake it around until both fillets are fully covered in Italian dressing
  3. Marinate for at least 4 hours
  4. Remove from bag and place on a plate
  5. Add salt and pepper to taste

Main Event (20 min)

  1. Start your Traeger or smoker grill on the smoke setting, with lid up for about 4-5 minutes
  2. Once a fire is established, turn the temperature to 350 and let it preheat until it reaches 350 (lid closed during pre-heat)
  3. Once the temperature reaches 350, place the salmon on the grill
  4. Cook for 20 minutes or until the salmon is to your liking
  5. Easy and delicious!
  6. Simple pairings – brown rice, steamed broccoli, and a glass of red wine!
